With major changes in the medical career structure, the theme of Personal and Professional Development is of high importance. Inevitably this will affect you during your training. There is currently an emphasis on PPD during the course which can be clearly seen in the Year 5 PPD portfolios.
Therefore it is important for you to consider your personal and professional development throughout the duration of the course and for you to reflect on your personal development, especially as this is a skill currently required on the FY1 application form.
