At Foundation School

Foundation School programmes are structured to provide you with opportunities to experience a variety of specialties and healthcare environments. These rotations can provide a career "taster" so that you can experience "life as a clinical pharmacologist" or other specialist. The more you plan ahead to make full use of these opportunities the better chance you have of being successful in gaining entry to your chosen career.

To get a flavour for life as a Foundation Doctor, and the types of rotations that might be open to you, why not visit the North East Thames Foundation School (NETFS), which is your local Foundation School.

Postgraduate education and training from FY2 onwards is regulated by the Postgraduate Medical Training and Education Board (PMETB) [new window].
